"It is definitely a bittersweet time for me. I love this place and these people! I am so grateful for the countless blessings from the Lord. I have a strong testimony that this is the truth. He has given me so many opportunities to learn and to grow. He has taught me to be self-sufficient, but entirely dependent on Him. I have always known the Book of Mormon was true, but i have developed a hunger to read it like I haven't experienced before. I have to stay drawn to it the rest of my life! I am grateful for modern-day revelation and prophets. I have learned that though I have had 23 months as a missionary, there is still much to improve on. Perfection is a process of a life. I remember that before the mission someone told me that we finally get to a point where we feel like we know what we're doing, and then the mission ends! I've learned that the mission teaches us to be ministers and disciples. That is the calling of a lifetime. Just like Peter, the Lord has asked me and all of us to feed his sheep. That is not a 2 year assignment. That is the the assignment of a lifetime and an eternity. I am excited to adapt to feeding the Lord's sheep in other places and other ways. Jesus is the Christ, our perfect example. I am grateful for His love and His patience."
