Since starting back into school, I have met dozens of awesome students, all of whom are much younger than I, yet I learn from them and I enjoy being with them. Here is what I appreciate:
Jordan--What an incredibly patient TA she is. Numerous times she has explained assignments to me in the computer lab.
Taylor--Taylor is soft-spoken, easy to talk with, and helpful. She has also been a lifesaver in my computer class.
Emily--Bright, beautiful, diligent. She is up at 4:30 every weekday morning to clean toilets in one campus building before starting her day of classes and homework. I love her smile.
Lexi--Lexi does not give up. Lexi plans ahead and wants to be on top of things. She is appreciate and loyal.
Trevor--A natural leader, capable, smart, good friend.
Mitch--He can always make me laugh. He says the funniest things, things we might all think but never say. Not afraid to approach a teacher or a TA, helps me to see the lighter side of life.
Alex--Always greets me with a friendly hello, confident, finds things to laugh about and enjoy, articulate.
Julius--A great person to be in a class project group with! Julius does not procrastinate and he figures things out. Smart yet humble.
Kaleigh--Quiet, quiet Kaleigh, yet darling, awesome Kaleigh. I don't think many people know how wonderful you are.
Heidi--Heidi is a master planner. She is really on top of details and is a great person to be friends with and study with. Heidi has multiple talents and abilities.
These are just a few of the students I rub shoulders with every school day. They have allowed me into their circles (because of the baked goods?), and I learn from them.
Every calling I have, every ward I am in, every neighborhood I move to, or every chance I have to meet people makes me realize how many unique and wonderful people there are in the world.
