While visiting in my daughter's home this past weekend, I saw some pictures taped around her kitchen sink.  The pictures included things that the children had done during the summer having to do with their summer goals.

One of Tate's goals was to catch ten cool bugs or lizards this summer. Mya wanted to make creative projects and bake something for the homeless, and Brynlee set out to read 1,000 pages. There were many more items on each list.

The setting of goals is admirable, as is the consistent effort needed to  accomplish the goals, but I particularly liked the pictures because they showed the happiness and enjoyment of the journey.  The process was captured in the pictures, as were the memories, and I think the children will look forward to setting goals in the future:)
