This picture is tender to me and I will try to explain why.  The lady in the floral shirt, I will call her B, is a very heroic, wonderful person.  She joined the church during her college years and she has remained faithful, though she is the only member in her family.  With the help of her awesome husband, she is raising her two daughters in the gospel.

B has a mother who suffers from MS and is in a rest home, confined to a wheelchair.  B's Dad was killed in a car accident when a gentleman ran a red light and plowed into his car. B's brother was over-medicated in the hospital as a child and as a result suffered irreparable mental damage. He cannot walk or talk and lives in a group home, needing assistance. B has taken on the role of the head of the family and faithfully visits her mother and brother. All of this on the shoulders of one person!

But look at B's smile.  It is never-ending.  She smiles as if the world has given her everything.  There is no bitterness or anger, only love and happiness emanating from her. B's attitude is always optimistic and she remains faithful regardless of what has come her way.  I love and admire her.
