Things have been sticking out to me lately--things I rarely think about--like the blessing of hands. What would I do without my hands? And my eyes--have you noticed the brilliant colored leaves and the snow-capped mountains? I am grateful for my ears that hear the sound of grandchildren saying "hello" over Facetime or singing me a song, the sound of the ward choir rehearsing, or Christmas music on Pandora. I am thankful for legs and feet and toes, a back that is not painful, a mind, a neck, shoulders and arms. I am thankful to live in America. I am thankful for family and thoughtful friends and most importantly, I am thankful for the knowledge I have that
I have a loving Father in Heaven who hears my prayers.
I have the gift of the Holy Ghost.
I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
I have a Savior, even Jesus Christ, who is my redeemer and His life and sacrifice deeply affected mine. I feel grateful today.
