A year or so ago, the lock/unlock mechanism on the front door of my van stopped working. Then a couple of weeks ago, the key fob stopped working on all of the doors. Getting in my car became a challenge. Most days I would not lock the car, because I was concerned as to how I would get back in, but sometimes I had to lock it and as I approached the locked car, the adventurous scenario would play out, usually ending with me crawling/reaching in through another door to unlock the front door. Finally I said, "Enough is enough". Actually, it is when family came into town and I didn't want them to have to go through what I went through every time I got into the car. So I took the van into the dealership and paid hundreds of dollars to get it fixed and oh, the joy of clicking a little fob and having your doors lock and unlock. What a blessing! It is almost good to go without something for a while because you appreciate it so much more when you have it again.
