Me Thinks

I'm still thinking about goals and improving myself.  There is a lot to improve and I am ready to get going on the improvements!  Here are a few thoughts I recently found:

There is no nobility in being superior to anyone else,

What is wanted is not that we should find ultimate truth, nor that we should become secure, nor that we should have ease, nor that we should be without hurt, but that we should live fully.  Therefore we should not fear life, nor anything in life, we should not fear death, nor anything in death, we should live our lives in love with life...and when we fail, to begin again each day.

What I learned from these three thoughts--I don't need to worry about being better than anyone else.  I will try to be superior to the person I was yesterday.  That is my quest--to improve and progress.  I will realize that things that are great in life, like becoming a great and Christ-like person, is the product of slow growth and I will be patient while I am developing and "becoming".  I will try to love life and enjoy the journey!
