I mentioned at the first of the year that I was transferring everything from my day planner to digital tools and lists.  Two apps had been recommended to me--the first being Trello, and the second Evernote.

About Trello--Once I figured out how to correctly organize my daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly lists and I got "set up" correctly, I began using Trello hourly!  I love it.  It is so much more efficient than my old planner.  Let me clarify--Trello is not hard to use, I just had to figure out the best way to organize all of the things that I was dealing with.  I am able to move items from one list to another, add things, change things, see things in advance, etc.  I would recommend this site as it has been very helpful to me.

About Evernote--Evernote serves a different purpose than Trello.  Trello contains lists of things to do and things that I need to accomplish.  Evernote is lists--lists of books I want to read, lists of music selections that I like, lists of quilt sizes and material websites, lists of life goals and things to discuss with Matthew, and on and on.  What if I am at the store and I want to purchase a book for my son, but I can't remember what books I have already given him?  I would simply pull up the list from Evernote.  I have really liked Evernote and I refer to it daily.

I have only been using these two apps for a month, and I think there are things about them that I have not used in full capacity yet, and I look forward to expanding their usefulness, but so far, so good on both of them!
