Kind people, thoughtful people, sensitive people, God-like people surround me and I am literally lifted and buoyed up by them.
What would we do without each other? One could not traverse this lonely, worldly trail without helpful friends to lift and encourage.
I learn of God when I see the actions of others. My heart is softened and I want to do better and be better.
I am remembering a Martin Luther quote:
The kingdom of God is like a besieged city surrounded on all sides by death. Each man has his place on the wall to defend and no one can stand
where another stands, but nothing prevents us from calling
encouragement to one another.
