Have you read "The Giver", or have you seen the movie "The Giver"?
I have and I liked them both. The premise of the story is that a civilization is created where everything is controlled and freedom of choice and emotions are limited.
I am glad that I do not live in a world like that.
I am glad that I am free to choose and that I am free to feel.
One of the emotions that I feel is love.
Love is deep, love is sustaining, and love is joyful.
But to love is also to hurt and to grieve. Yet even with that, I would still choose to love.
