Yesterday I substituted in primary. I loved every minute of it.  I was reminded of the fact that children like to learn.  They are thirsty for knowledge and I love that about them.

Today a granddaughter helped set the table for dinner and boy, did she get into it.  She folded the napkins, she decorated the white paper cups, she made place cards, and she decorated the center of the table.  To top it off, she dressed in a patriotic outfit (the red ribbons in her hair are hard to see).  I was reminded that children like to help.

Children are humble and teachable, children are sincere, children are honest, children are happy, children find joy in the smallest of things, and children are believing.  I want to be more childlike.
