Things that made me happy on Mother's Day:
--Memories of my mother
--Having Matthew at home before and after church
--Going to church with Matthew and Logan
--Seeing Matthew and Logan with aprons on
--Hearing an amazing message from our ward Relief Society President
--A thought-provoking lesson in Gospel Doctrine class (Is the Lord first in my life?  Do I treasure Him above anything/everyone else?)
--Seeing other mothers at church
--Thinking of other mothers that I know who I did not get to see yesterday, but who I admire
--Taking the sacrament
--Singing the hymns in Sacrament Meeting with other ward members
--Hearing the choir sing a song about mothers (a men's choir comprised of men and young men in the ward)
--Seeing a priest sitting at the sacrament table for the first time
--Hearing the primary children sing
--Having my in-laws for dinner
--Shish kabobs on the grill
--Playing a game with my in-laws and laughing together
--Seeing Matt's sister and her family
--Talking with my children who live out of state
--Receiving a coupon for a pedicure, a box of chocolate almonds from See's, an email from a son,  and other things
--The opportunity to pray to my Heavenly Father and express gratitude for the blessing of being a mother
--Writing in my journal
--Reading General Conference talks
--Time to plan the week
--Seeing some of the grandchildren and hearing them sing and talk
--Seeing the sun after days of rain and gray skies
--This vase of "snowball" flowers cut from the bush in the backyard.

I'm sure that I am forgetting other things that made me happy, but this list is enough to keep me smiling all week.
