There is something so powerful about someone sharing their testimony and the Spirit confirming to me that what they are saying is true.
This happened to me today when my visiting teachers came to visit me. They both shared messages from General Conference. One of the sisters talked about the power of the Atonement in her life. She said that as she has grown older, she has felt a deeper gratitude for what the Savior did for her--how he suffered greatly, and that he was willing to suffer and die for each of us. She expressed her appreciation to both the Father and the Son for what they had given us. As she shared her feelings and her testimony, the Spirit confirmed to me that what she was saying was true and it was a lovely, sweet moment.
